Rosie Helyar has been providing counselling and psychotherapy through her practice in North Wiltshire and Bristol for the past ten years.
As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and with a doctorate in psychotherapy and a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, she provides a range of services, including help with depression, anxiety, relationship problems, bereavement, post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders and weight control. She has successfully provided counselling both one to one and in groups to enable people to lose weight gradually and permanently.

Dr Rosie obtained a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy in 1997, and became a
part-time counsellor in a GP surgery as well as setting up her private practice.
Her original training was in psychodynamic counselling, but she has developed an integrative style, using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to provide short term counselling and guided imagery for trauma work.
